Ruth The Brute

She came to us by way of Dan about 8 months ago,
Turned up in Oz with her boyfriend Dave and five more blokes to go.
All the way from Belfast up their, Carry Duff way,
But loves it here in Paddo, Oz would dearly love to stay.
She broke up with her boyfriend and spread herself around,
Had a fling with Dublin Shane, a new life she had found.
Then fell in love with Paul from Cork resolved, religion joking,
This all led to sex, the likes of drink and bloody smoking.
You could say that she's a night owl and could dance the time away,
Sometimes you'd see her coming home when dawn broke into day.
Her friends, Kate, Leanne, Shannon would also go astray,
With "Ruth the Brute" at the court house in a Northern Irish way.
She loved the game of Trivia, down the five ways at the Royal,
With Zel, the likes of Irish Pete won nothing, had a ball.
A loving girl to all she met mostly on the job,
He was no stranger to our Ruth, that local "rugby league Rob".
It wasn't very easy to keep her from the guys,
At Durty's she just knocked them down, with her big beautiful eyes.
It's hard to say how many that stumbled out the door,
Had great craic with most of those that she will see no more.
And for those special stopovers when Saturdays became Sundies,
You'd always find them in her bag a couple of pairs of undies!
Now the Gaff another stomping ground her trumpet she could toot,
I'm not too sure, but that's how she came by the name of "Ruth the Brute".
Now she's leaving Durty's after doing bits and bobs,
We'll miss you Ruth, you did well down to the polished knobs.
If ever you should pass this way in years to come do tell,
We'll be here to welcome you love from Gittel, Dan, Alisa, Benson, Me and Zel.
