Miriam came to Durty Nelly’s, it was straight off the plane
Suffering with the stiffest neck, could barely stand the pain
She’s from Coachwood, down in Co. Cork, her accent broad and fast
But when they made our Miriam, they threw away the cast
You’d try to understand her, with an accent oh so strong
But every time I answered her, I think I got it wrong
We love the way she makes a quote, like coming from the South
I’m just so happy, it’s like I woke up!!, with a coat hanger in my mouth
A smashing sight in swimsuit, was to do a shoot and all
For a car, the prop, it got smashed up and didn’t get the call
So then she took to gardening, pulling weeds and digging dirt
She’s such a hit with all the guys, this girl knows how to flirt
Like those that had been chasing her, Mick “T”, Michael “H” and Tony “C”
Are left with pleasant memories, of what was not to be
She could turn from Horticulture, to the best at pulling beers
And put a smile upon your face, or fill your eyes with tears
She’d serve a drink and add the quip, “that’s four twenty and the bubbles are free”
It comes with a smile, lots of crack and so much love from me
As she told her tale of Bondi, where the sunburn left her little joy
She trilled by showing off her burns, to every single boy
There were Staffies – Peter – Lynas and J.P. most of all
She even let them feel the heat, whilst she just had a ball
There has to be an omen, with the Irish so they say
Our Miriam did her R.S.A. course, yes, on April Fools Day
Now that your holiday is ending, what could be better than this
We’ll talk of you with love in heart, for the way you gave us bliss
You represented Durty’s at the Cussack Dinner Dance
Where you and Sean Casey, did laugh and drink and prance
Until the early morning hours, not “tongue tied” for a minute
The crack was for the taking, so you were there, right in it
You did us proud at Durty’s, impressed Zel, my little fella
He says that you are quite unique and that you’re Durty Nelly’s Cinderella
