Tara

She came from County Galway
Down to the land of Oz
Travelled north, south, east and west
And did it just because
She’s a Galway chick and vibrant
With a mind that is her own
A radiant smile, with piercing eyes
But now her time has blown
So back home to the emerald Isle
Where life will take its turn
To cast a mould off this grand girl
Who’s got energy to burn
She’ll give or take no task to hard
There’s fire where she has been
Yet so packaged up with strength and looks
The finest ever seen
We’ll wish her well and miss her too
She has been an inspiration
Just be clear of mind and true of heart
As you challenge life’s sensation
Time spent at Durty Nelly’s
I’m sure will be remembered
Where one of Tara’s habits
Smoking, truly ended
I stake my claim to this fair deed
T’was done without fear or clashes
And from this point on
There’ll never be, a book on Tara’s ashes
